Nobody is perfect. There is no wedding that doesn't have objectors. Every married couple was just lucky that none of the objectors heard of their wedding plans until it was too late. Wedding banns are normally proclaimed in churches or pasted on registry notice boards. Also, the couple-to-be would give out their invitation cards (which include only their surnames and other names but no photos) to their friends , co-workers, etc about a month or two in advance. Imagine a prospective groom or bride posting the notice in the photo below on Facebook 2 months to the wedding date. I'm sure the couple's Facebook inboxes will be full of objections within a week. There is no adult male or female who has not broken some hearts before getting married. Even a virgin couple would have offended some people in other ways (e.g. by turning down their advances) and would be lied against , using a pseudonym Facebook account.
