How school principal handed over schoolgirls to Boko Haram men in military uniform.

THE Associated Press reported on Thursday how the principal of the
Government Secondary School, Chibok,Borno State,Asabe Kwambura,
mistakenly handed over 129 schoolgirls to Boko Haram gunmen, who posed
as military men.

The story was tweeted by Jon Gambrel on his twitter handle
@jongambrell/AP around noon on Thursday.

The principal said the insurgents arrived after midnight at her
school, wearing military fatigues and posing as soldiers. She said she
believed them when they told her that they needed to move the girls
for their own safety. So, she allowed the extremists posing as
soldiers to load the students on to the back of a truck.

"It was only as the armed men were leaving, and started shooting, that
I realised my mistake. The militants killed a soldier and a police
officer guarding the school," she said.

"Jesus may not come again;he was probably drunk when he made that promise". --Vatican.

According to spokesperson for the Vatican, Cardinal Giorgio Salvadore,
the second coming of Jesus, the only son of God, may not happen
after all.
Cardinal Giorgio Salvadore has officially announced that this year's
1,981st anniversary is to be the Vatican's last in regards to waiting
for the Lord to return to Earth. But he urged followers to still
continue with their faith, regardless of the news.

Cardinal Salvadore said, "We just feel Jesus is not coming back by the
looks of it. It's been ages .He's probably flat out doing other really
good things for people somewhere else."

In John 14:1-3 of the Bible, Jesus promised his disciples that he
would come again: "There are many homes up where my Father lives, and
I am going to prepare them for your coming. When everything is ready,
then I will come and get you, so that you can always be with Me where
I am. If this weren't so, I would tell you plainly."

Cardinal explained Jesus' broken promise saying that he was probably
drinking wine at the time when he made the comments. "Having the
ability to turn water into wine has its ups and its downs. We all make
promises we can't keep when we're drunk. Jesus was no different,"
added Cardinal Salvadore.

The church said it will now focus attention on rebuilding its
reputation around the world, but will keep an optimistic mind for the
Saviour's second coming.

Varsity students gang-rape fellow male student

Five male students of a Nigerian university landed into a big soup
when they allegedly gang-raped another guy who nearly bled to death
from the injuries he sustained from the assault.

One of the students, a 2nd-year student ,whose name was given as
Friday Desmond, had been lovers with the raped boy whose name was
given as George. He had promised to marry George as soon as he
graduated from the university. Their illicit love affair had been
going on smoothly with both of them meeting regularly at selected
places.

On that fateful day, however, Friday took four of his friends to Bwari
Area Council where George lived with his parents and lured George to a
hotel in the neighbourhood. The five students allegedly took turns
to rape George.

After the incident, George was allowed to go. At home, he discovered
that he was bleeding from his anus. He quickly alerted his parents who
tried every first aid measure to stop the bleeding to no avail. They
quickly rushed George to a nearby medical centre where the health
officials put him on intensive care.

Every attempt to stop the bleeding failed. The distraught parents
enquired what happened to him and he told them how the five students
gang-raped him and left him with the injuries.
The parents immediately reported the matter in a police station in the
area council and the operatives swung into action and arrested
Friday. The Police in Bwari later transferred the case to Kubwa where
Friday is said to have remained in detention.

Giving your password to the wrong person can cost you your studentship

If you must give out your eportal password to other people ( to help
you register electives, apply for accommodation, etc ), please make
sure they are people you can trust.

A malicious person can easily send you out of school by deregistering
all your courses for the semester. The victim ( hopefully not you )
will only get to know when it's time to print out his course form and
he can't. By this time, ALL registration will have closed. Unless he
is lucky or influential enough to secure a retroactive leave of
absence from the Faculty Board,he may have to begin again.

Even a fellow student can single-handedly send you home if you are
careless. A word is enough for the wise.
